What We Do

Vocational Training

Amada’s vocational training exists to provide women with a variety of occupational skills as a pathway to dignified and sustainable income. Ranging from sewing and jewelry design to management and computer skills, we desire to equip women from vulnerable backgrounds with opportunity and hope.

Crisis Intervention & Trauma Counseling

Amada serves women and children in areas of extreme poverty and high violence, making them vulnerable to abuse and trauma. We began seeing issues related to underlying trauma, preventing our artisans from living whole and successful lives. We offer Biblical trauma recovery retreats, discipleship groups, and counseling on an “as needed” basis. We desire to make this care available to impoverished communities, outside of just our Amada artisans and staff.

Tiny Hope

We are thrilled to offer education not just for the children of our artisans but also for children in one of the most vulnerable communities of Honduras. We provide each child with nutrition, medical care, excellent education, and teaching of God’s word.
